Approximately 136 individuals missed their court appearances in the Calgary Provincial Criminal Court and more than 5,700 in Calgary Provincial Traffic Court between June 21 and 28. Depending on the charge, failure to appear on July 17 could result in a warrant for arrest being issued.
Calgary Provincial Court Criminal matters will be heard July 17 at 9 a.m. in courtroom 507. Failure to appear may result in a summons or a warrant for arrest. Individuals who have questions about their court matter may call 403-297-2242.
Calgary Provincial Traffic Court matters will be heard July 17 at 9:30 a.m. in either courtroom 908 or 1405. Individuals are asked to check the digital display sign at the Calgary Court Centre to find out which courtroom they should attend. Failure to appear on Wednesday, July 17, may result in a summons, a warrant for arrest, or a conviction in absence. Individuals who have questions about their court appearance may call 403-297-2283.
