Athletes of the Day July 26, 2013: Mustangs Boys of Summer

9 members of the Pincher Creek Mustangs teams gathered at Matthew Halton School field for a players-only practice instigated by Senior Mustangs heavy-hitter Eddie ManyGuns.  With the help of Mustangs alumni Alex Oliver (soon to be coaching) and Braden Barber a squad of athletes ranging from Grade 9 to Grade 12 worked on their skills in the hot July sunshine.  A good turnout for the first of these practices.

ManyGuns plans to hold players-only practices all summer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Halton field.  If you're interested in joining the Mustangs for the upcoming season, this is a great way to get some experience under your belt first.  Returning players and new players are both welcome to participate.  Bring cleats and a helmet.
