2013 Ranch Rodeo Cowboy Show to be held July 27 and 28

The 2013 Ranch Rodeo Cowboy Show will be held at the Pincher Creek Ag Grounds on July 27 and 28.  Admission is free for this event.  Donations will be gratefully recieved and will go to Pincher Creek Emergency Services and Pincher Creek SPCA.

The Cowboy Show is the oldest Ranch Rodeo in Canada and the Ranch Rodeo Committee is dedicated to its continued success in the community. This year organizers have focused on encouraging the community to come out and enjoy the festivities as well as enticing teams to come out and show us what they are made of with some awesome prizes.


There will be prizes for placements up to the fourth place team. First place prizes are custom made buckle sets as well as prizes for Cowboy and Cowgirl of the day and many others. There will also be a Western Art and Gear show featuring local artists and craftsmen, as well as a saddle raffle to win a custom saddle.

Saturday July 27 events
8:00 am - Stock Dog Trials
1:00 pm - Ranch Horse Competition
Long loop roping competition with supper to follow.

Sunday July 28 events
9:00 am - Ranch Roping
1:00 pm - Ranch Rodeo
