U12 Soccer: Crowsnest Pass defeats Pincher Creek

Pincher Creek's U12 Red Bulls soccer team hosted their Crowsnest Pass counterparts on Wednesday, June 5 at the Agricultural Grounds Soccer Field.  Rylan Bruns and Richie LaGrandeur did duty in the goal for Pincher while Hunter Olsen and Chloe Straw defended the net for CNP.

In the first half CNP was up 3-1 with a few minutes left until the whistle.  CNP was being a dominating force in the game, and put one more in the net to make it 4-1 at the half.  Cam Little made the goal for Pincher, and Kyler Olsen, Logan Catonio, Cassidy Little, and Taylor Jensen each scored for CNP.

During the second half Pincher was determined to keep CNP away from their goal, and pushed harder into their territory to try to make a few more of their own.  A full half of solid back and forth soccer ultimately resulted in no more goals for either side.  Final score: 1-4 for Crowsnest Pass.

"They had a much better second half," said Pincher Coach Kristen Buhrmann. "I think that they played as a team better."

CNP's Coach said  "My team played fantastic.  Pincher was great, and a good challenge.  They forced my team to play a smart game."
