Senior Mustangs participate in Canmore Spring Jamboree

Pincher Creek's Senior Mustangs travelled to Canmore's Millenium Field Saturday, June 1 for the 2013 Canmore Spring Jamboree.  The event featured scrimmage contests ustilising half of the field between the Mustangs, Bow Valley, Springbank, and host Canmore Wolverines.  The Mustangs team was small in size but not in spirit, fighting hard and unfortunately sustaining some injuries.

The results were less than stellar for the Mustangs, who lost all three contests; 1-3 vs Springbank, 3-4 vs Canmore, and 0-4 vs Cochrane/Bow Valley

The Mustangs fielded 15 players.  For comparison, the Wolverines reportedly had 52 players attend their spring camp.

Bottom line:   The team has built up an incredible momentum over the last couple of years under , continually achieving new standards of excellence and achievement, and the Senior Mustangs need more athletes to sign up for the fall season to keep that momentum going.
