Athlete of the day June 7, 2013: Brenden Lissel

Brenden Lissel

Matthew Halton School student Brenden Lissel participated at the 2013 SWJHAA Junior Track and Field event held in Pincher Creek at the St. Michael's School field on May 29.

He placed third in the Midget Boys 200m Dash and he was on the Matthew Halton Midget Boys 4x100m Relay team, which placed second at the event.  He displayed good sportsmanship throughout the event, one of his characteristic attributes.  He's a very good-natured athlete.

Brenden was on the honour roll last year and he plays alto saxophone in the school band. He's a member of the Pincher Creek Mustangs and he has his green belt in Taekwon Do.  He's also a big fan of paintball.
