Pincher Creek's Sproule Field was dedicated to the memory of Winston Sproule on this date, May 24, 2001.

Thanks to Liam Nazarek for pointing that out.  Liam's one of our local athletes that has benefited greatly from the existence of the Sproule Field baseball diamond. Sproule Field has also been the site of many great soccer and rugby games, and other sporting events, over the last 11 years.
