Keeping it in the Family - Windy Slopes Vacation a Month May 2013 winners announced

Health care workers are often health care philanthropists, as evidenced by Windy Slopes Health Foundation’s Vacation a Month Raffle 2 draw for May. The first prize of a seven day resort getaway for two in Huatalco Mexico went to Anita Yanke, who works in Nutrition Services at Pincher Creek Health Centre. Margo Schmidt of Pincher Creek, who works at Vista Village, was the winner of this month’s $100 cash prize.


“That doesn’t surprise me at all,” said Jordan Koch, Acute Care Manager at Pincher Creek Health Centre. “People who work in the health care field are like a family and really support each other. Lots of us have tickets in the raffle, but most of us are still waiting to win!” he joked.  

Draws continue monthly even as the Foundation makes plans for Vacation a Month Raffle 3. Details on the next raffle will be released soon. Raffle proceeds fund priority health care equipment needs at Pincher Creek Health Centre.
