Pincher Creek's Senior Girls Hawks rugby team hosted the Catholic Central High School Cougars from Lethbridge at the Sproule Field pitch on May 7, 2013. It was a beautiful day to play, with a light breeze, sunny skies, and dry weather.

It was quickly evident that this game was being held between two unevenly matched opponents, the Hawks dominating throughout.  The Cougars never lost hope and played with continuing enthusiasm throughout even though the points were continually mounting against them.

The Senior Hawks scored 60 unanswered points in the game for their first big win of the season.

The Hawks will be playing this weekend in Edmonton and will be going to  Vulcan on Thursday, May 16.
