Priddis area construction accident results in one death

Today, April 11, 2013 at approximately 8:45 am, the Turner Valley RCMP, along with other emergency responders, were called to a residential construction site near Priddis, Alberta.

Upon arrival at the scene, it appears that a second story wood framed wall had fallen on a worker.

RCMP confirmed that a female has died as a result.

There is nothing to indicate that there was anything criminal about this incident with initial indications being that this is a work place accident.  As a result, Alberta Occupational Health and Safety are investigating.
