Free beef with MD Agricultural Environmental Services on Friday, April 12

MD citizens are invited to visit the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 Administration Building (753 Kettles Street, Pincher Creek) on Friday April 12 from 11 am "until the beef is gone" for free Alberta beef on a bun and a chance to learn what Agricultural Environmental Services does.

Attendees are welcome to discuss issues of interest to producers in the area, such as Dead Stock Removal, Weed Free Gravel Certification, the 2013 Weed Program, Seed Cleaning and crop issues and events taking place this year at AES. Come and meet the members of your Agricultural Service Board (ASB) and staff of the AES Department.

If there are any questions about Fusarium testing or other Seed Cleaning Plant issues, Pincher Creek Seed  Cleaning Plant Manager Kevin  Schmaltz will be on hand to help answer some of your questions.  As for information on other crop issues that we at AES deal with  (vlubroot,   insects  and   grasshoppers,  crop diseases, sprays etc.) we will help if possible, and if not we will find someone who can.
