Craft Diva Betty Hepner |
The season of markets has begun. The Spring Craft Market was held at the old Fields location in the Ranchland Mall on March 22 - 23. "It was good. It's how much the vendors are smiling when they leave that lets me know if it was a successful market," and it was successful, according to organizer Betty Hepner.
The market had 37 vendors with everything from baked goods, homemade crafts, jewelry and home businesses that were letting people know that they are available.
Hepner is going to be running more craft fairs throughout the year. She is involved in helping organize the Garage Sale that will be out at Heritage Acres on May 11, and is thrilled that Sheldon Smithers from the television show Canadian Pickers will be on-site. She will also have another craft fair up in the old Fields location during Cowboy Poetry, June 14 and 15 and will organize the craft fair at Heritage Acres for August long weekend, August 3 - 4.
