Pincher Creek's Midget Huskies ended the year with three wins in a row, starting with a 17-1 victory over Cardston on December 16.  On December 21 they hosted Warner at Pincher Creek's Memorial Community Centre Arena, winning that game 11-3.  They wrapped up the year with a 9-1 win against Kainai at the Kainai Sports Centre on December 22.  They're scheduled to host Picture Butte at the MCC Arena at 8:00 pm on January 4, 2013 with another home game scheduled against Taber the next day, January 5, starting at 6:30 pm.


The Midget Huskies are having a great season, with 12 wins and only 2 losses so far, earning them second place just behind Coaldale in the Spud League standings.  Only two points separate the two teams at this time.

Midget Huskies vs Warner

The Midget Huskies December 21 game against the Warner South County Sabres was a fairly one sided affair.  The Huskies scored three times in the first period, Warner twice.   The Huskies scored four goals in the second and third periods.  Warner scored once in the third.

Huskies highlights: #23 Ryan Marshall had a particularly good game, scoring twice and getting three assists.  #16 Captain Brett Tarcon also scored twice and got an assist. #21 Michael Roy scored once and got four assists. #7 Stephen Mitchell scored twice.  #20 Zach Wall got three assists.
