Athlete of the day, December 6, 2012: Catherine DeCock

Catherine DeCock

Catherine DeCock was awarded Most Valuable Player for the St. Michael's SV Dragons basketball team after their big win at last weekend's pre-season volleyball tournament.  She was a relentless competitor in every game she played in, taking it to the hoop over and over again, and wow is she ever FAST!

At last school-year's Sword and Shield awards held in June of 2012 she was honored for Going the Extra Mile in Cross Country, she was the MVP for the SV Girls volleyball team, she was the Most Inspirational athlete on the SV Basketball team, she got a Sportsmanship award in badminton, and she won the Senior High Sportsmanship of the Year award.  She's also been a notable member of the Foothills 4H Beef Club.
