Peterborough based quintet Tarantuela will be performing at the Twin Butte General Store on Monday, November 12. starting at 8 pm. Their exhuberant sound is one part "The Band" and one part "gimme a double". Dual guitars and a classic 60's organ sound act as the counterpoint to lead vocalist Jay Swinnerton's casual delivery. They're a working man's band, mining the tradition of Canada's finest rhythm and blues road warrior combos.
Tarantuela is on a western Canadian tour in support of their debut record "Good Luck-Black Cat-Bad Luck". They're produced and promoted by Toronto's Cameron House Records, an indie-style label that is also home to Kayla Howran, who played the Twin Butte stage back in April of this year.
