RCMP investigate Vandalism and Break and Enter in Fort Macleod

In the early morning hours of Friday, November 1, 2012 unknown suspect(s) vandalized a vehicle belonging to a Fort Macleod business. The vehicle had been parked in the alley between 24th and 25th Street and 3rd and 4th Avenue in Fort Macleod. The vehicle sustained substantial damage and it is believed the business was specifically targeted.

In a separate incident, sometime between October 27 and November 3 a rural residence located North of Fort Macleod on Township Road 100 was broken into. Suspect(s) gained entry to the unoccupied property via a secondary door. Suspect(s) rummaged through the residence, defecated in the toilet, and left without flushing. The door to the residence was damaged and suspect(s) stole several air rifles.
