MD of Pincher Creek Enhanced Policing monthly report, September 2012

Rural Community Policing Officer Doug Sokoloski submitted an Enhanced Policing Monthly Report to the Council for the MD of Pincher Creek No.9 for the month of September.

Highlights:

• Distance driven: 3,636 km
• Number of violation tickets issued: 29
• 23 of those tickets were issued on Highway 22.
• Fine value of violation tickets: $3,623

• In total 517 violation tickets have been issued to date in 2012, compared to 500 total for 2011.
• Public events and meetings attended: 43 so far in 2012, compared to 25 in 2011.
• Stats also show patrols to Beaver Mines, Lundbreck, and Twin Butte are on the increase this year over last.
