Pincher Creek's Bantam Mustangs played the Lethbridge Junior Bulldogs at the University of Lethbridge field on Saturday, October 27. According to Coach Dan Crawford it was "an awesome game for our team."
"We played really well."
The Bantam Mustangs won the game 27-2. "Everybody was just dialed in and ready to go. We started scoring from the start and just kept going," Crawford said.
"Our Defence was awesome. Our Offence was playing really good as a unit. It didn't matter what they tried, they couldn't get any yards on us. After getting ahead by 3 or 4 touchdowns we got confident," he continued, explaining the big lead game him a chance to let everyone play.
Making it to the semi-finals game was a first for the Bantam Mustangs. Now they have two more firsts ahead of them. The first time they will ever play in November, and the first time a Pincher Creek Bantam football team has qualified for League Finals.
"It's been fun," Crawford said. "Now it's serious time."
On Saturday November 3 at 11:00 am the Bantam Mustangs will face the Medicine Hat Hawks in Lethbridge. The winner of that game will play in the Provincial Tier 4 Semi-Final.

They will loose to the hawks
