Above and below:  Ma Dame Debbie Webster of  Chimney Rock Bed and Breakfast and Dames on the Range  took these photos on Highway 22 during the past long weekend. An unfortunately typical highway hero pulls out for the long pass, creating a very dangerous situation only resolved by forcing his way back into his own lane.  It's drivers like this that keep our Emergency Services so busy every weekend.
