Coutts Border Crossing re-opened

Update 6:40 pm September 7:  The Coutts Border Crossing has now been re-opened.

Traffic is being turned away at the Coutts, Alberta crossing until further notice.

A suspicious package was delivered to Canada Border Services Agency at Coutts, Alberta.  This package has been isolated and the port closed.  The port will remain closed until such time as the RCMP can ensure the safety of everyone.

The investigation is continuing and details will be released as more is known.
