Children waited to get their faces painted, jumped in the bouncy castle, blew bubbles, played games, threw balls and Frisbees, and participated in contests conducted by the Bluerock DJ.
Children and adults danced. Kids of all ages lined up to dance the limbo, they danced while twirling hula hoops, they danced to the beat, they danced to win contests, and they danced for the fun of it. Group Group Youth had burgers, juice and cotton candy on hand for those that needed to refuel during the evening. Everyone had a great time playing and enjoying the warm evening with good music, fun and food.

The adults joined in or looked on at bouncing, laughing, running, energetic children, many in awe of the energy and enthusiasm of youth. The Pincher Creek Recreation Office put in hours of work preparing for the event, and with the help of a number of dedicated volunteers managed to once again pull off a wonderful family event.
Group Group Youth Society, Napi Friendship Center, Parent Link Center, Brighter Futures, and Aboriginal Literacy all put in TONS of planning and hours of hard work in partnership with the Rec. Office, we held two planning meetings and divided up the load, we couldn't have done it without the above groups--so thank you!
