Clayton Bellamy to perform at Ranchland Mall

Clayton Bellamy will bring his rock n' country style to the Ranchland Mall for a free concert on Wednesday, August 22 at 1 pm, by Mrs P’s restaurant.

Bellamy's 15 year career began in Bonneyville, Alberta.  He's won a Juno award for Best Country Recording, four Canadian Country Music Awards, and he was named SOCAN Songwriter of the Year, among many other accolades.

Bellamy is touring to promote his new solo album “Everyone’s a Dreamer”, which was released on March 6, 2012. The song "Everyone's a Dreamer" was the number-one downloaded single on iTunes during the first week of January this year.

Fans of The Road Hammers will recognize him as one of that band's three members.  Clayton and Jason McCoy (also of The Roadhammers) were contestants on the reality show Mantracker in 2010, and both managed to beat the hunters to the finish line.  Mantracker also appears in a promotional video for "Everyone's a dreamer" as one of Bellamy's guests explaining how they followed their own dreams to success.

Bellamy is also a former Motocross racing star. At one time he was ranked 4th in Canada.
