On July 7th, 2012, the Fort Macleod RCMP received a complaint that the recycling trailer located next to the Fort Macleod Arena had been set on fire. The RCMP attended the scene along with the Fort Macleod Fire Department. The trailer sustained significant damage and all of the bins in the trailer were destroyed. It appears the trailer was set on fire on purpose.
The RCMP are investigating this incident as an Arson and are seeking public assistance in identifying any suspects. Anyone that may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to provide are asked to contact the Fort Macleod RCMP at 403 553-7200 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
