Between the evening of July 3, 2012 at 8 pm and the early morning of July 4, 2012 at 1:20 am the Fort Macleod RCMP were dispatched to a theft of personal items from a motor vehicle on 20 Street in the 100 block of Fort Macleod, Alberta. The owner of the vehicle advised that there was a forced entry into the vehicle and the thief or thieves made off with approximately $150 dollars worth of personal belongings. The vehicle that was gone through was a Red 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier.
The Fort Macleod RCMP would like to remind everyone to lock your vehicles and put items of value out of sight when they are in your vehicle. Failure to do this may make your vehicle a target for would be thieves that are looking to quickly grab valuable items.
