Wildfire smoke restricts Highway 43 traffic south of Fox Creek

Traffic on Highway 43 has been restricted due to wildfire smoke approximately 16 kilometres south of Fox Creek. The northbound lanes have been restricted to one lane and the southbound lanes are fully open. Traffic is being controlled by flagpeople and the speed has been reduced due to heavy smoke.

Fox Creek is located north and west of Edmonton.
