Friends In Sync says farewell to founding member with Crestview performance
Mik Bergersen
Toni Lucas
Mik Bergersen started the singing group "Friends in Sync" approximately seven years ago by putting an ad in the paper. It was a call out to the community for ladies who might be interested in starting a choir. That starting point brought strangers and neighbours together through their love of music. In the ensuing time it has become a close knit group of friends open to newcomers with a mutual joy of music.
On Tuesday, April 3 the group bid farewell to Mik Bergersen after one last concert together at Crestview Lodge. Bergersen is leaving the community to be closer to family. She can feel good about the legacy she leaves behind as the group is continuing on.

At a farewell party in her honour Bergersen was presented with a lovely scenic painting. Carolee Elliott, also a member of the group, created the painting specifically for Mik, intending it to be a fond memory of the wonderful times she has spent in southern Alberta.
