3 yr old killed in Piikani Nation vehicle-pedestrian collision

On Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 4:10 pm Piikani Nation RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a 3 year old  pedestrian on the Piikani Nation reserve. Upon arrival to the scene the pedestrian was pronounced dead. At this time the Piikani Nation RCMP are assisting the Calgary medical examiner and the matter is still under investigation.

At the request of family names will not be released. At this time police have determined alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the incident.
