Pincher Creek 4H District holds public speaking competition

The Pincher Creek and District 4-H Public speaking competitions were held March 11 and March 15 at the Foothills Community Church. Winners in each category (Junior, Intermediate and Senior) from each of the five 4H clubs in the Pincher Creek District  had the opportunity to compete at the District night.

On March 11 the Rocky Mountain 4H Swine Club hosted the District Presentations.  Competitiors in Presentations included:

  • Kassi Wells (Silver Reins Light Horse)

Winners of the Pincher Creek District competitions are now eligible to further compete at the Regional level to be held at the Medicine Hat College on March 31.  Public Speaking is a mandatory portion of the year for all 4H members and we congratulate everyone for a job well done.  We also thank the many local men and ladies from our community that are asked to judge and take the time to critique, place and give constructive and encouraging thoughts to each of our speakers at club and district level.

The Pincher Creek District has 74 registered 4H members this year.
