A hubbub of happy voices filled the Canyon School gymnasium during the "Healthy Active Assembly" held there on Friday afternoon, March 2.  Students participated in a series of energizing activities, including dances, a tricky hula-hoop challenge, which culminated in a gymnastics display using a balance beam.

At the conclusion of the assembly, Principal Goodreau was delighted to accept on behalf of Canyon School a cheque from Shell Waterton's James Little and Melissa Friesen to the amount of $25,000, designated to go toward playground improvements.
