Highwood Livestock Auction Sales of High River, AB held their 38th annual Southern Alberta Livestock Exchange High Country Bull Sale at Pincher Creek's Horseshoe Pavillion on Saturday, March 3.

Consignors for the event included Curtis and Nanette Turnbull of Turnbull Charolais, Jackie Sproule of Sproule Charolais,  Sheldon and Larissa Lewis of the Char-Lew Ranch, Dale and Erin McGlynn,
Dan Sewall, Alvin and Loraine of A&L Robbins Ranching Ltd. and Vanessa Sproule of HD Ranching.

30 Angus and 45 Charolais bulls were up for auction.  Frank Jenkins of Fort Macleod Auctions was auctioneer, with Darren Shaw and Justin Keely acting as ring staff.

A BBQ Prime rib lunch was provided, and a Social followed the sale.

Correction:  A price per head listed here previously was for slaughter bulls, not breeder bulls.  Thanks to Jenkins Ranche for the corrrection.
