Is there life after basketball?

Toni Lucas, Pincher Creek Voice

While watching and cheering on Danika Headly, #11 for the Matthew Halton Hawks, during last weekend's CMA Classic Basketball Tournament, mom Trina Headly was carefully hand-beading parts of a new jingle dance outfit for Danika.  Traditional Blackfoot designs tend to have strong geometric patterns, and this is a beautiful example of this strong, attractive patterning.

Danika and brother Chris Yellowhorn will be performing traditional dance at the International Peace Powwow, to be held in the Lethbridge Sportsplex on February 25 and 26.
