On Sunday, February 12 the Chinooks faced the Elk Valley Wild again for the Championship game.

The Wild proved to be more of a challenge for the Chinooks than they had been in the first game.

Pincher Creek's #11 Jessen Luco scored first, with an assist from #19 Ethan Richards midway through the first period.  Chinooks' #4 Tyson Goodreau got one in with 2:37 on the first period clock, assisted by #9 Nic Jordan and #14 Bryce Conley. Then, with just over 43 seconds left on the clock, Wild #5 Hayden Surja popped one past the Chinooks' defences, assisted by #20 Levi Strom, bringing the period to a close with the Chinooks up 2-1.

Ethan Richards brought it to 3-1 early in the second period, with an assist by #18 Emily Wittkopf.  Down 3-1 now, the Wild rallied, pushing hard, going on to dominate the period.  Wild #24 Alex Spukoroff brought it to 3-2 with an assist from teammate #7 Nicole Klein, who was a bit of a phenom in the game.  Then Wild #8 Madison Glover got one in, assisted by #10 Donovan Gostick.  Wild #20 Levi Strom had his turn with an unassisted goal, putting Elk Valley ahead 3-4.  The Chinooks pulled it together enough to prevent any further goals against, and Goodreau tied it up as the clock ran down the last seconds of the period, assisted by #2 Chaz Vance and #14 Bryce Conley. The Chinooks took a lot of penalties in the second period, and were therefore frequently at a disadvantage.

The Chinooks came back strong in the third period, starting it out right with one of Nic Jordan's trademark breakaway goals.  Then Chaz Vance had a turn, assisted by #25 Zach Krampe and #3 Jacoby Provost, bringing the score to 6-4. The game began to get rougher, but for the most part cooler heads prevailed.  Wild # 8 Madison Glover scored once more, assisted by Strom, bringing it ot 6-5.

In the last minute of the game the Wild pulled their goalie in desperation, which resulted in an empty-net goal by Ethan Richards, assisted by Goodreau.

When the buzzer sounded, the Pee Wee Chinooks had taken the tourney with three straight wins.
