Chris Davis, Pincher Creek Voice
Pincher Creek's Chinooks Atom team hosted the Raymond Ice at the MCC arena on Saturday, February 4. The Ice had a much shorter bench to work with, which played against them.
Chinooks' #26 Cameron Little started the game off right for his team with a goal early in the first period, assisted by #25 Taite Jessen. Despite clocking an overabundance of penalties in the first period, the Chinooks managed to hold off the Ice offence. #21 Josh Conley increased the Chinook lead with 10:42 on the clock in the first, with Jessen again getting the assist. About 7 minutes into the second period this strong forward line reversed roles, with Jessen scoring and Conley getting the assist. The Raymond team struggled valiantly to reverse their fortunes, not managing to score but holding off the Chinook offence until 2:25 on the clock in the second, when Conley scored again, this time unassisted.

The Chinooks were well on their way to a shutout in the third period, with goals from #10 Lloyd Libbert, another Jessen assisted Conley corker, and a nice bookend ing goal for Little, when Raymond #4 Dagan Eskelt (sp.) popped one in with an assist from #7 Colton Helgerson.
