The Hawk's Nest Cafe was buzzing with activity yesterday, December 8 as the Matthew Halton Booster Club formed an assembly line, preparing and delivering 450 orders of lasagna for customers who participated in their fund-raising sale.   Large  12"x10" pans of lasagna were sold  for the very reasonable price of $20.00.

The meat was prepared earlier in the week and stored at the Pincher Creek Co-op until needed.  "Storage has been an issue," said Yoda Taylor.  "We've had lots of help from parents and the community.

The day before at the Hawk's Nest Cafe, Yoda Taylor was giving a lesson in how to reduce a turkey into parts for storage and cooking, a more economical way to purchase fowl.

On a separate note, Matthew Halton High School will present their annual Christmas Band Concert at 7 pm on Tuesday, December 13. Food hamper donations and/or a silver collection will be accepted by students involved with Social Justice.
