| Junior 'A' Halton Hawks |
The Jr. 'A' (Grade 8 and 9) Halton Hawks soared high over the St. Mikes Dragons on December 8, 2011. The Hawks began strong and soon overwhelmed the smaller (both in size and numbers) St. Michael's team. The final score saw the Hawks as clear winners with 58 points over the Dragons at 14.
High scorers for Halton were: Justin Albert with 19 points, Jack Dietze with 15 points, and Colton Ball with 12 points. There was also incredible play from the grade 8 rookies: Eligh Big Bull, Marcel Levecque, Co-Captain Levi Anderson, and Lochlan Terpstra. Team Co-Captain Liam Nazarek also had a stellar game, showing fantastic hustle and some good defensive moves.
Kirby Dietze is the Assistant Principal of Matthew Halton High School and NAPI Alternative School.
