The Pincher Creek Sobey's store fashioned a beautiful cake as a reward to the Senior Mustangs football team for their incredible season this year. The cake was designed to look like a football field, with the names of the athletes spelled out in delicious icing. Never was a team so glad to see a reporter as this one when we showed up at Matthew Halton School. "Now we can finally eat our cake," said one wag.
"Next year we'll have a Provincial's banner for the background," said Coach Brannen.
