The St. Michael's Junior Division Girls Dragons hosted the WCCHS Cobras at the Dale Wentz Memorial Gymnasium on the evening of Thursday, November 3.

There was more smoke than fire coming from the Dragons.  The St. Michael's girls seemed to be distracted, and the results showed in the game.  The Cobras are a formidable team at any time, and they used this distracted attitude to their advantage.

The first set ended 14 - 25 for the Cobras.  The second set was the dragons strongest, with the Dragons getting 15 points to the Cobra's 25.  Final set of the evening was a short set with Cobras taking the set with a score of 15 and Dragons 7.  The Cobras played a strong game, communicating well, and moving fast.

Meanwhile across town the Halton B Girls were up agains the WCCHS2 Cobras, and fared about the same.  The Cobras took the first set 11-25.  The Hawks put up an energetic struggle in the second set, but the Cobras ended up taking that one 25-23.  A series of incomplete serves and a difficulty making successful returns cost the Hawks the last set, which ended with a score 25-13 for the Cobras, giving the Cobras three straight sets for the match.
