Co-op C-Store to hold Grand Opening event

On Friday, September 23, the Co-op C-Store and Gas Bar will be holding a Grand Opening celebration. "It has been a long time coming, but it is worth it," said C-Store Manager  Anita James.  "We have so much planned. There will be live music, give aways, specials, it is going to be a big day."

A Poulan riding lawn mower on display outside the store is up for grabs.  To enter the draw, you have to put your name and contact information on the back of a receipt from the C-Store that totals $50.00 or more and enter it into the draw box on the counter.


Price specials begin at 8:30 am and will last until 6 pm.  The ribbon will be cut at 8:50 am, and the lawn mower will be drawn for at 9 am.  Local musician Chris Davis will be playing live from 9 am to 1 pm.  Some of the highlighted specials will include half price on propane, and any $10 sale will receive a free milkshake (per Co-op member number) while supplies last.  A fill at the pumps will get Co-op members a till receipt worth 10 cents off per litre towards their next grocery purchase.  Free burgers will be available between 11 am, and 2 pm, and with over 200 door prizes, a lot of people are going to be walking away smiling.
