The Pincher Creek High School Rodeo Club Rodeo will be held at the rodeo grounds in Pincher Creek on Saturday and Sunday this coming weekend, September 3 and 4.
Admission is free, and the event starts at 10 am both days. Everyone is welcome, so come out and cheer on our local competitors.
Locals to watch for according to the overall Events Leaders standings for District 1, which Pincher Creek is part of:
Breanna Green is having a great year, currently sitting at second place in Barrels and third place in Poles, and is in eighth place overall in the All Around Leaders Listing, District 1 Girls.
Morgan Claypool is also doing quite well, sitting at second place in Team Roping as Header and fourth place in Breakaway.
Ryley Jenkins is sitting in second place in Team Roping as Heeler and sixth place in Saddle Bronc. Jenkins is seventh in the All Around Leaders Listing, District 1 Boys.
Cooper Zur from Lundbreck is entered in the bareback event. Zur took first place at the recent Pincher Creek Pro Rodeo.
Other local names to keep an eye out for include Britnie and Abby Zur, Morgan Michalsky, Jessica Vanee, Laressa McGlynn, Raelyn Rutledge, Naomi Paridaen, Sam Mitchell, Tyrell Peters, Brandon Naumczyk, and Haxstyn Peters.
