RCMP Alberta - RCMP detachments along Highway 3 in Southern Alberta are issuing a travel advisory following multiple weather-related collisions today. Alberta transportation has issued a closure notice for Highway 3 from Taber east to Medicine Hat.
Non-essential travel is not advised along Highway 3 west of Taber to Fort Macleod. Blowing snow has resulted in extreme winter driving conditions and numerous traffic delays due to collisions and vehicles in the ditch.
