Hwy 2 traffic north of Claresholm resumed, road conditions remain hazardous

UPDATE: The obstruction on Hwy 2 north of Claresholm has been removed. Traffic flow has resumed, however, road conditions remain hazardous.

Original RCMP Alberta report - RCMP in Claresholm are advising motorists to expect delays after a semi roll over on the southbound lanes of Highway 2.  Officers are currently on the scene (published at 10:52 am) approximately 1 km north of Claresholm and traffic is being re-routed onto gravel roads while work is underway to remove the rolled-over semi. Motorists can expect delays for the next hour.

No one was injured in the roll over and extreme wind conditions are a factor in the collision. An update will be provided when traffic flow resumes.
