Nic Jordan scored two of the Huskies' goals against Nanton in the second period of that contest. The first of them was unassisted and was the first Huskies goal of the game and of the season. Nathan Baker scored once for the Huskies and also picked up two assists. Colby Snider and Chase Snider also scored for the Huskies. Spencer Dorge picked up two assists. Also earning assists were Brandt Sabo and Blaine McFarland. 15 penalties in this game, nine of them to Nanton, including a game misconduct for Huskies' Josh Conley at the middle of the third period.
Blaine McFarland scored two of the Huskies' goals against Warner. The other Huskies goals in that game came from Jesson Luco, Josh Conley, Colby Snider, and Brock Wakaluk (unassisted). Hunter Gudmundson and Chase Snider earned three assists each. Spencer Dorge earned two assists and Colby Snider added an assist to his goal for the Huskies. Penalties for both sides were heavy in the first two periods, including a game misconduct for Warner's Maxwell Laackmaan near the end of the first period. Two penalties in the final period were relatively inconsequential in nature.
The Huskies will be back on home ice tomorrow, October 21, for a game against Taber, to begin at 7:30 pm. The next day they travel to Indus. Both are CAHL tiering round games.
