Toni Lucas - The sight of a fire hydrant may most commonly give relief to a dog, but the Town of Pincher Creek is giving away tiny plastic hydrants for the use of owners. The mini hydrants can be carried in a pocket or on a leash and contain biodegradable bags for cleaning up after your pet while going for a walk. "It is just to encourage people to pick up after their dogs waste," said Recreation Manager Adam Grose. The hydrants are going to be given out at town hall when a person gets a dog licence, at the recreation facility, and at the local veterinarian clinics.
