| 2015/16 Pincher Creek Atom Chinooks |
This weekend the Pincher Creek Minor Hockey Association is hosting their annual 2015-2016 Atoms Hockey Tournament. These tournament games give competing teams an opportunity to face off against unusual opponents. The Pincher Creek Chinooks are off to a good start in the tournament, defeating their Lethbridge Lightning counterparts 12-5 in the opening game on Friday evening, November 27. The tournament continues throughout Saturday. The participating teams are divided into two pools, which will compete in the final games on Sunday. Stop in over the weekend to show your support for our local Atoms!

The Tournament is structured in a round robin format, with each team guaranteed four games. Two points are awarded for each win, and one point is awarded to each team in the event of a draw; in the event of a tie in the finals, a shoot-out will determine the winner. Games consist of three 25 minute periods, with the clock left running.
