Matthew Halton High School's JV and SV Girls volleyball teams hosted their Lethbridge Immanuel Christian High School Eagles counterparts on the evening of October 26. The Eagles dominated, winning 5 of 6 sets played, by wide margins.  The Hawks have talent and potential, but really only clicked consistently during the third JV set, which they won by three points. 

  

The SV Eagles are one of the strongest teams in the Westwinds League, with a chart-topping 9 wins and no losses as of October 18. The Hawks played with enthusiasm good sportsmanship, to the end, but there was an evident age and experience gap, particularly at the senior level, which they were not able to overcome.
