Foothills Liberal candidate Tanya MacPherson at Pincher Creek forum

Foothills Liberal candidate Tanya MacPherson was one of the 5 candidates who spoke and answered questions at the forum held in Pincher Creek on the evening of October 8, which was mediated by David Green.  The above is a video of most of Macpherson's opening remarks and some of her remarks during the Q&A that followed.

MacPherson said Canadian's need a change from "unresponsive and divisive government". Among other things, she argued for "evidence-based policy", and less government interference with regulatory entities. 

According to her Liberal Party webpage, MacPherson has 15 years of research lab experience, including with Agriculture Canada, the National Research Council and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree and a Master’s degree in chemistry.
