Josh DavisOn Saturday, September 26 the Pincher Creek Skate Park hosted Skate Jam, a community event which invited skaters of all ages and skill levels to come out and show their stuff. Sponsored by Infamous Board Shop, and the Town of Pincher Creek, Boston Pizza, and Simply Catering, Skate Jam also featured a live DJ. The Community Kitchen was there providing snacks to hungry skaters and audience members. All proceeds from the concession went to the Pincher Creek Spray Park Society.
Though there were light showers during the event, the majority of skaters and audience were dedicated enough to stick it out. When the rain died out and the equipment was dry prizes were award ed to skaters who demonstrated the skills they had developed.
