Mrs. P's Coffee Corner held their annual Father's Celebration Supper on Friday, June 19. Featuring classic music, cars, poodle skirts, and old fashioned hospitality, the evening was meant to honour dads and remind everyone the special place fathers hold in our lives. According to owner and namesake Loretta Packham, because the restaurant is not usually open on Sunday's she started the nostalgic theme for a Friday Father's Day celebration years ago . She was delighted that the feature car at the event, a classic Chevy Delray on loan by owner Lorne Jackson, was the same vintage as herself.
