St. Michael's School was the site of 2015 National Aboriginal Day celebrations that included drumming, riding in a Red River Cart, a sash presentation and artifact display by the Chinook 1880 Métis Association, Piikani Nation School dancers and drummers, a petting zoo, and in-teepee seminars with Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park and Piikani Elder representatives.

Asihâwak Festival is scheduled for June 25-28 at the Castle River Rodeo Grounds.
