The Cowley Lions held their annual Pancake breakfast and garage sale on Saturday, April 25. The turnout was exceptional, with over 200 people attending. Lion Arnie Nelson said that he had bought 194 plates and they had run out close to the time they were planning to close down the kitchen for the day. Those few that came late could still find something to eat from the ladies of Castleview who had pies, tarts, and other sweet treats for sale. Proceeds from the pie sales and the breakfast go toward Cowley area initiatives.

Vendors had tables displaying wares that included everything from garage sale fare to home based businesses, to informative literature about upcoming events. This is an event that heralds spring and is looked forward to by many in the area.
This was a chance for many in the Village of Cowley to visit with friends, have some fun, shop and support local causes.
